Located beautifully on the gentle sloping shores of Herridge Lake, are 6 clean well maintained cottages. These consist of 1, 2, & 3 bedrooms, a large furnished living room area, fully equipped kitchens and 3 piece bathrooms with an abundance of hot water. Linens, blankets and electric heat, put the finishing touch on these dwellings.
For your outdoor comfort each cottage has a deck or porch with patio chairs, propane BBQ and picnic table.
WE HAVE SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
Papa John's Place has a nice sandy shallow clear water beach with lots of sand toys. Out further is the diving dock with a water slide. A play area for the children is near the beach.
Cottager’s have a community campfire to gather around in the evenings for friendly conversations and the fish stories of the day. Roasting marshmallows, spidey dogs and lots of laughing is a great way to end the day for both kids and adults.
There is nothing like a good game of horseshoes to show off your skills or lack of. Park benches have been placed here and there throughout the park to enjoy the scenery or quiet time to read a book.
You can fish right from shore or off the docks. There are boat and motors, canoes and paddleboat rentals available for exploring Herridge Lake. Safety kits, adult lifejackets and map of the lake are provided.
Have your own boat? Bring it along, we have a boat launch for those who like to bring their own boats.

Our camp is the centre of the finest fishing available in the near north. Walleye (Yellow Pickerel), Lake Trout, Whitefish, Smallmouth Bass and the ever hungry Northern Pike, will make even a gourmet's mouth water. Speckled Trout streams or stocked ponds are only minutes away. You need only your fishing gear.
Hunting in an area that is blessed with a magnificent wilderness forest, the Temagami forest offers an abundance of wildlife. The most sought after are the majestic moose, crafty bear, and the ever plentiful grouse. This combined with the ever changing Autumn colours makes for one of the most enjoyable experiences.
Our store not only sells bait, tackle, firewood and ice, but also ice cream, chocolate bars, pop, chips, bottled water, paper towels, foil wrap, foil pans, rain coats, bug hats, sweat shirts, hats and t-shirts.
At waters edge you will find large campsites with an unbelievable view of the water.
We have 5 Hydro and Water sites available to make your stay comfortable and
4 non-hydro sites for those who enjoy nature at its best.
The campground washrooms are second to none!!!! Lots of hot water for showering and flush toilets.
Because of our limited sites book early to avoid disappointment.
Close By Is
Our small town Temagami, is only 7 minutes north of our park. The town provides a grocery store, LCBO, gas station, information centre, post office, restaurants, gift shops, outfitters and laundromat. Police station and ambulance service is out of Temagami but hospitals are in both North Bay and New Liskeard.
The Caribou Mountain Lookout Tower with its panoramic view is a must to climb while in Temagami. You will want to bring your camera for this! Also hike one of the trails through the old growth forests. You pick the trail that is best suited to your abilities from the beginner to the advanced hiker.
What better way to view the true northern beauty then a ride in a plane. Look into this while in Temagami.
